It's pretty safe to say that lockdown 2020 was rough for everyone but for anyone fresh out of high school, with no idea what they wanted to do, was not the greatest. I, at that point, had no interest in computers or anything related to tech but since I had nothing better to do, I gave it a shot.
To my massive surprise, I turned out to be pretty decent. I landed a few freelancing jobs in web development along the way then ended up with the pleasure of working at a brand consultancy based in the United States.
I've come a long way since my origin story, and I've come to really enjoy building interactive websites with an emphasis on animations and bringing every page to life. I always experiment and do more research to find the best ways to give sites an almost "video-game-like" feel to them as much as I can.
When I'm not slamming my head against the desk by my computer trying to rid myself of every error that appears in the web console, I quite enjoy an extremely cheeky game of soccer and other sports as well as making the most of my time spent with close friends.
Things I do well. Always keeping the client in mind, respecting your needs while using my expertise to meet demands in a way that works for the web.
Design that starts with the person using it, not the trend cycle. I work through the problem first, then build an aesthetic around what the solution actually needs to be. Visually distinct, structurally sound, and made to last.
Clean, considered code. Whether it's a straightforward site or something with moving parts, I build things that work properly the first time and hold up over time.
Most sites are more vulnerable than their owners realise. I audit, identify, and close the gaps before someone else finds them. Security isn't an add-on; it's part of how I build from the start.
Not the kind of SEO that games algorithms temporarily. The kind that builds genuine findability: clean structure, purposeful content architecture, and technical foundations that search engines actually respect.
When off-the-shelf doesn't fit, I build what does. Custom WordPress and CMS plugins that integrate cleanly with your existing setup with no bloat, no workarounds, no plugins doing three jobs badly.
Good work doesn't stop at launch. I stay available for updates, troubleshooting, and improvements so what I've built for you keeps working the way it should, without you having to become a developer to maintain it.
Built from scratch no templates, no shortcuts, no borrowed frameworks dressed up as design. Every line of code and every design decision exists because it should.
I've built for architects, accountants, security companies, luxury guest houses, premier fine-art foundries, digital marketing agencies, mobile coffee shops, and more . Have a look at some of my favourites
Having already worked together building out the first site, working in close collaboration with their lead designer, my role was to take a considered visual language and give it life on screen; faithful to the intent, but with room to breathe and move the way only a well-built website can.
Drawing from the global leaders in the security industry, a digital presence was built that earns its authority: serious in its craft, composed in its execution, but with enough edge to remind visitors that this is not a firm that cuts corners. The result is a site that communicates command without saying a word too many.
FM Architects, one of the top Architectural firms in South Africa and serving clients all around the world, needed a website that was modern, sleek and was able to show off just enough to draw the attention of visitors to their exquisite quality builds. The goal? To enhance, not distract, but to leave visitors wanting more.
